The Reliance Valves (RWC) Anti-Legionella Valve prevents legionella bacteria from contaminating stored cold water within expansion vessels by maintaining circulation and eliminating stagnation.

The valve converts a standard single connection expansion vessel into a ‘flow through’ type by diverting a portion of the flow into the vessel so that the water content is continually renewed to prevent water stagnation, which can cause Legionella growth.

The 3/4" valve also has a rotatable tee-piece and wall bracket, however, both options include a ball valve to allow for quick and easy flexible installation. The Anti-Legionella Valve can be used on any standard vessel with a 3/4″ or up to 1 1/4″ connection.
