The Altecnic series 253 safety relief valves are designed to regulate pressure within the primary circuits of solar heating systems. Each valve is carefully selected to match the required set pressure.
As system pressure builds and reaches the discharge threshold, the valve opens automatically, releasing excess pressure to the atmosphere. This action safeguards solar collectors and associated equipment from potential damage caused by overpressure.
