The Altecnic / Caleffi Series 313 Safety Relief Valve is designed to safeguard domestic hot water systems—protecting the hot water cylinder—and heating systems by relieving excess pressure to protect the boiler and associated components. The valve is selected based on the required set pressure.
As system pressure rises and reaches the pre-set discharge point, the valve opens, releasing water to the atmosphere and preventing pressure from reaching hazardous levels that could compromise equipment or pose a risk to nearby personnel. Each valve is supplied with a pressure gauge for monitoring.
