Altecnic / Caleffi Safety Relief Valves are designed to protect domestic hot water cylinders and heating system components—including the boiler—by relieving excess pressure. Each valve is selected to match the system’s required set pressure.

As pressure builds and reaches the designated discharge point, the valve opens to release pressure to atmosphere, thereby preventing potentially hazardous conditions for equipment and nearby personnel.
